2020 Year in Review
How can I repay the LORD for all his goodness to me? (Psalm 116:12). The year 2020 certainly presented may challenges for the Diocese of Trenton Catholic Charismatic Renewal and our mission to bring the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to the whole Church. But the Lord in His goodness has shown us new ways in the midst of the pandemic to advance His Kingdom. Through the use of technology and “the Church has left the Building” with outdoor events, the year 2020 was very blessed and is bearing great fruit for the Kingdom.
Praying Meetings were all held “in-person” before the pandemic. The blessings of the “virtual” Prayer Meetings that began in April 2020 expanded participation beyond the Diocese of Trenton and New Jersey, to all over the country and beyond. People gathering weekly for praise, worship, teaching and fellowship. Glory to God!
Throughout 2020, monthly Charismatic Healing Masses were held in-side the Church, the Parking Lot, and virtual on our YouTube Channel. What great testimonies of healings that people experienced while watching these Masses sitting in their living rooms at home. Glory to God!
The Pentecost Vigil, workshops and seminars were a constant through the year. The "Spiritual Gifts Workshops," "Hearing God's Voice" Seminar with Matt Lozano, Therese Griffin, and Jim Tortorici, The "Parking Lot REVIVAL: God, Country, Family" - with Bishop David O’Connell drew over a 1000 people from all over the tri-state area. These anointed events gathered people in new ways to experience healing, peace and more of the Holy Spirit. Glory to God!
The Trenton Unbound Ministry with our amazing prayer teams ministered in the power of the Holy Spirit to many people who were seeking healing and deliverance in-person and via “Zoom” every month of the year. The Unbound Ministry concluded the year with the "Time to Heal Seminar.” Glory to God!
I was blessed to be able to present a virtual Advent Retreat “Rejoice” that concluded our the work of the Diocese of Trenton Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the year 2020. Certainly our Lord led many of us out of our comfort zone in 2020, for this we say: Glory to God!
The Year 2021 is here and the Holy Spirit still has much work for us to do to "bring the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to the whole Church." One of the great personal blessings for me in 2020 was praying with so many brothers and sisters from our Charismatic Community, who reach out to me by email or by phone.
