SPIRITUAL GIFTS AND SUPERNATURAL MINISTRY WORKSHOPS

SATURDAYS: JULY 13, AUGUST 10, SEPTEMBER 21

Vatican City, June 4, 2017 / 11:04 am (CNA/EWTN News).- On Saturday, Pope Francis said that the grace of the Holy Spirit is for everyone – something we must keep in mind as we continue to walk the path toward Christian unity through prayer and good works.

“Share with everyone in the Church, {the} Baptism in the Holy Spirit, praise the Lord without ceasing, walk together with Christians of different Churches and Christian communities in prayer and action for the most needy,” Pope Francis said June 3.

The grace of the Holy Spirit “is for the whole Church, not just for some, and none of us is the ‘master’ and all the others the servants. No. We are all serving this current of grace.”

The DOTCCR - Summer 2019 is hosting a “Spiritual Gifts Workshop”. Session I is on Saturday, July 13 and Session II on Saturday, August 10. Part III is a Supernatural Ministry Workshop on September 21. The goal is to equip individuals to serve at the NJ Charismatic Conference on October 25-26 and beyond.

The Workshops are open to everyone wanting to learn what the spiritual gifts are, how they operate, and how to activate them for ministry into daily life. The Workshops are particularly designed to not only teach, but demonstrate the gifts and equip believers for ministry. The goal is both to introduce and advance newcomers, while also refreshing and equipping those more mature and experienced.

The Spiritual Gifts Handbook, by Randy Clark and Mary Healy will be a foundational text for the Workshops and available for purchase at a discounted rate. Randy (as a leader in the Pentecostal Church) and Mary (as a Catholic laywoman and Scripture Scholar) have united to present a powerful testimony to the unity within the Body of Christ in seeking the Lord and activating the gifts of the Spirit for a New Evangelization!

The DOTCCR is offering these workshops to invite spirit-filled believers to stir up, refresh, and strengthen the gifts within them for the sake of the Kingdom and all those whom the Lord would use us to touch, encourage, heal, and empower in the Name of Jesus.

The Lead Presenter of the workshops is Jim Tortorici. Jim is the Coordinator for Trenton-Unbound and a teacher in the Theology Department at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ. Other leaders will also be presenting and ministering. Both days begin @ 9 am at St. Mary School and conclude with a Charismatic Mass at St. Mary Chapel at 4 pm celebrated by Pastor Jeff Kegley, Liason to Bishop O’Connell for the Charismatic Renewal in the Diocese of Trenton. The Mass will conclude with a commissioning by Fr. Kegley.
